(Finally) Meeting the Family!

This is H with his small cousin-twice-removed Hannah
This is H with two great aunts: Maya and Annelise

This is Great Uncle Hank! (The one with the advice from the previous post)

And this is H with a very nice 5 year old girl named Clare. They got along really well, and talked a lot about things that we couldn't hear. H asked me if they could have a playdate next week. Hmmmmm....................

(Getting Ready) To Meet the Family!

After H met the family mentioned in a previous post, he met some other friends and family. But first he had to get ready!

This is H right after he had scrub-a-dub-dubbed!

He had to brush his fur, it was getting matted after his long trip to G-ma's.

And he had to change his clothes because his Great Uncle Hank told him that "Dressing like a hooligan is no way to make a good first impression." So Great Uncle Hank brought H down to Macy's and took him to the Men's Department and bought him some spiffy new clothes.

A Day with Grandma!

Today Hannaninakilo came home to Grandma's and did a lot of fun things.
Grandpa Maki will be so proud that Hannaninakilo finished his first Rubix Cube!
H having fun with my stand mixer. I think he was making cookies.

H rockin' out to "The Climb"

He showed off fantastic musical skill when he sight-read Rhapsody in Blue. Grandma Tamie will be so proud!

Meeting the family~

Today Hannaninakilo had the oppurtunity to meet many of his dear relatives. Everyone fawned over him for about three hours.
Here is Hannaninakilo with his Aunt Jackie. She was a bit scared of him at first, but got over it and ran away. He also endured a long lecture from his Uncle Richie about being on time. That took about 90 minutes.

Here he is with his Aunt Jackie again.

And of course Great Auntie Emma was all over the little guy.

Auntie Kete dropped by for a chat too. Hannaninakilo learned how to do a handstand from his Aunt. He drew a picture of how his day went:

I thought it was pretty accurate. He really misses his grandmothers and his grandfather. He wanted to write you a postcard and tell you what he had been doing. I told him it was too expensive(Grandpa, you need to speed up your math lessons). He had a great day today and even planted a weed! Sorry Grandma Tamie, he didn't have any time for practicing his intstrument(he already knows his priorities:).
